I am a fan of extreme sports and outdoor activities. I love the occasional adrenaline rush and the feeling of falling. I have done sports include wrestling, lacrosse, pole vault, skiing, snowboarding, wake boarding, surfing, and mountain biking. (I still skateboard often.)
Vehicles and mechanical objects have always fascinated me. I want to know how things function. I am drawn to, and enjoy the challenge of developing athletic and technical skills like operating off-road vehicles, sailing, boating, shooting, rock climbing, scuba diving, machining and skateboarding.
I have been a lifelong maker, dreamer and thinker. Philosophy and ethics are things that I ponder often. What I do and say and think has a real effect on everything around me. As such, I strive to be as intentional as possible about every decision I make.
Every disagreement is an opportunity to learn. Speaking with people who we disagree with is a vital component of learning and one that I think the world needs more of.
